We keep a small number of laying hens. They have a coop and outdoor enclosure and are allowed frequent access to the garden and surrounds in the evening. They are not completely 'free range' all the time because they could be a nuisance in the neighbourhood and in more serious danger of predators.
They have a varied diet including grains, maize and access to fresh grass.
Eggs are £1.20 a half dozen available at any time from the wooden box on our drive. Choose your eggs and simply put the money through the letterbox in an envelope provided.
We would be grateful for any spare egg boxes.
